What is AutoCAD MEP?

AutoCad is a CAD (Computer Aided Design) software which is used for various application but it is also widely used for MEP application to create and modify engineering drawings. It helps us to create different views of the drawing.

AutoCad MEP helps us to build the system that connects the buildings outside the world. This course helps us to draft, design and documents in an AutoCad enviornment. Generally we use AutoCad MEP for 2D design professionally and 3D design is done in Revit MEP.

SYLLABUS

•    Introduction
•    Power plan setting, adding panels, receptables, wiring, lighting fixtures, lighting plans, cable tray, conduits, creating power circuits etc
•    Duct planning and designing, adding air terminals, VAV, dampers, watering equipments, chiller water piping, hot water piping, HVAC planning etc
•    Creating plumbing drawing, plumbing lines, adding plumbing fixtures, gas boilers, strainers and various accessories.
•    Detail components addition, riser design, label curve additions, creating isometric drafts, creating viewpoints etc.
•    Creation sections, section lines, merging line work in section refreshing and updating sections
•    Understanding display configurations, configuring representation by objects, HVAC and Electrical Objects.
•    Creating HVAC systems, piping systems

AutoCad MEP is widely used software in various industries locally and internationally. This application is a powerful tool to create documents and parametric models. Hence having being used in various industries MEP certified engineers are always in high demand.
